    Uncertainties of measurements are also traditional theme of expert meetings in acoustics. Methodology for evaluating uncertainty exists about a quarter-century, but it is constantly evolving. The article completes liberal to papers line from last years of this seminar thus. It highlights some of the news and also summarizes the historical context.

    Control is used in everyday practice to facilitate and enhance our activity. We are therefore always interested also achieved the result of control, which assesses the various criteria of quality control. High attention is paid to the actual regulators and their parameters. In the control must be closed control loop and his feedback may have to control result a similar impact as the controller itself. Sensor, or other members of the measuring chain, which forms the feedback often has decisive effect on the final quality control, its accuracy. Imperfect sensor accuracy is reflected in the result of control. This paper tries to show the relationship between measurement uncertainty in the feedback and permanent control error.

    Measurement uncertainties play an important part in all cases where proving of conformity is required. This is a common situation in technical diagnostics branches, when conformity needs to be proved (or disproved). The article points at importance as well as advantage of measurement uncertainty principle use in such cases, all that in loose relation to recent series of articles on uncertainties in vibro-diagnostics published in Automa-magazine.
