The Faculty offers the public the opportunity to study subjects that are part of accredited study programmes. The study takes the form of lifelong learning (LLL) courses. Interested students can supplement their education with mathematics, physics, statics, strength and elasticity and many others. Technical education is of high value and the knowledge gained at FME will permanently enrich the graduates of the courses.
Offering this form of study is also an attractive solution for those who plan to reapply to study at FME after a previous unsuccessful course of study. It is possible to complete the missing course(s) in the form of LLL and then apply for their recognition after enrolment in further studies. With a well-chosen strategy, it is thus possible to complete all the required courses of the year by means of LLL and then build on the previous study in the new study.
Important information:
- The course is not intended for students who have active or interrupted studies in an accredited FME degree program.
- The course participant does not have the status of a student.
- The course is fee-based, the price for the course is set according to the price of the selected courses listed on the e-application form.
- The study takes place in courses included in the plans of accredited study programmes.
The e-application for the courses of the winter semester of the academic year 2025/2026 is open from 1 June 2025 to 31 August 2025. The link to the e-application can be found here. Select to apply and a list of courses/course offerings, including price, will appear in the next step. (The e-application and thus the list of course offerings will be launched on June 1, 2025.)
