The operation of the Faculty Library will be significantly affected by the renovation of Building A4 in the coming academic year. Construction work will continue throughout the year and will bring changes not only to the library premises but also to its daily operations. Students and staff will have access to all services during the renovation, but in a modified form. Thanks to this, the library will remain a place where you can borrow professional literature, use printing services, or participate in popular activities.
ORDERING TITLES
To borrow books and lecture notes, you will need to order the documents in advance exclusively via the PRIMO search engine. You can find the exact procedure for ordering on the Faculty Library website.
Online ordering will be available to students by September 15, 2025, at the latest.
Ordered titles will be ready for pickup no later than 2 hours after ordering. If the order is placed after 3:00 p.m., it will be ready for pickup the following business day from 7:30 a.m. You will be notified by email when your ordered titles are ready. Ordered titles can be picked up within 3 business days, after which the books are transferred to another interested party or returned to the deposit.
DISPENSING SERVICES
Delivery services will be provided in a temporary space – room A5/115b (one of the glass rooms on the ground floor of building A1). Printing, including large format, and other services, such as magazine lending, will also be available here. The new space will open on the first day of the semester, September 15, 2025.

RETURNING ITEMS
Borrowed books and lecture notes can be returned either to the book drop box on the 2nd floor of the KH2 building (near the Paternoster lift) or during opening hours at the Faculty Library circulation desk.
OTHER ACTIVITIES OF THE FACULTY LIBRARY
Despite the ongoing renovation, the Faculty Library will continue to organize traditional events such as the Professional Literature Fair and the popular board game evenings. We will keep you informed about the dates on the library's website and social networks.
THE FACULTY LIBRARY IN THE FUTURE
Although library operations will be subject to certain inconveniences and restrictions during this academic year, it will be worth the wait. Starting in the 2026/2027 academic year, a completely renovated modern space will open, offering a more comfortable and inspiring environment for studying and spending time between lectures.
