National Competence Centre for Aeronautics and Space (NaCCAS II) was established as a continuation of the project of the same name (implemented in 2019–2022) with the aim of connecting five research institutions and thirteen workplaces of major industrial partners.
The project focuses on strengthening interdisciplinarity and cooperation between the research, academic, and private sectors in the field of aeronautics and space for the period 2023–2028. In line with the trend of integrating new technologies across various industrial sectors, it bridges the traditional perception of aviation with modern approaches based on advanced implementations of digitalization (control circuits of automatic systems, monitoring, and diagnostics), extending toward future applications in autonomous technologies, the development of manufacturing technologies (3D printing, composites), and technologies for space applications.
Parallel objectives include developing know-how in the relevant fields, supporting the direct transfer of knowledge, applying expected outcomes and developed technologies in industrial applications, and creating suitable conditions for the commercialization of research results and their use for the benefit of society.
This project, TN02000009, is co-financed with state support from the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic under the National Competence Centres 2 program.
