FME student Lukáš Kříž flew in Prievidza, Slovakia, to win the title of Junior European Gliding Champion. His sister, Michaela Křížová, who won a beautiful 4th place in the Club category, and another of our students, Jan Št'astný, who won the title of Junior European Vice-Champion in the same category, also did great.

Michaela Křížová is also a successful glider and can also boast the title of the best academic female athlete of the BUT in 2023.
