Just before the start of the winter semester, matriculation ceremonies were held at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the Brno University of Technology on Friday, September 12. During the ceremony, students were formally accepted as members of the academic community. The main part of the ceremony was the taking of the student oath.

"I promise to conscientiously fulfill all the obligations arising from my studies at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Brno University of Technology. I will work and study in such a way as to prepare myself as well as possible for my future profession. I promise that I will behave in such a way, both on and off campus, as not to damage the reputation of the faculty and the entire university."

The assembly took place in the faculty auditorium Q and included speeches by the faculty management and representatives of the FME Academic Senate.
