FME student Tomáš Křivánek, who is studying Mechanical Engineering, won the final round of CNC Skills Czech Republic. He is set to represent the Czech Republic in milling at the EuroSkills Düsseldorf 2027 competition.
Tomáš Křivánek is the 2023 Czech Republic champion in CNC milling. He still has two years to prepare for the European championship. In the final shootout, he faced Martin Škarada from Wstec, the 2024 champion, who is a year younger. The two young champions competed very closely, with Tomáš Křivánek ultimately winning by four tenths of a point.
This fall, the EuroSkills Herning 2025 European Championship was held in Denmark, where the Czech Republic was represented by, among others, former FME student Martin Češka, the 2022 national champion, who was named the best young professional of the Czech national team at EuroSkills.
