To ensure the safety of students and staff, the rules governing access to the faculty campus outside regular operating hours are being updated as of 1 June 2026, in accordance with the current campus operating regulations. The clarification of the access regime responds to several recent incidents, including a fire in Building A1.
The aim of these measures is to maintain access for student teams, students, and employees who use faculty facilities outside standard operating hours, while at the same time strengthening personal safety and protecting faculty property. Effective safety management can only be ensured if security personnel have an overview of everyone present on campus and are able to respond promptly when necessary.
Outside operating hours are defined as:
- Monday to Friday, from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
- Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays
During these periods, the following rules will apply:
- Pedestrian access to the campus will be permitted only through Building A1; all other entrances will remain closed.
- Access will be granted only to individuals with a valid card and the appropriate authorization.
- Every person entering the campus must identify themselves to security staff.
- Individuals must also state the purpose of their visit, the specific location where they will be staying, and the expected duration of their presence on campus.
Access arrangements for student teams are managed by the respective student team coordinators.
These changes are primarily preventive in nature and are intended to create a safe and predictable environment for everyone who uses the faculty campus outside standard operating hours.
Thank you for your cooperation, consideration, and respect for these rules.
