On 8-10 July 2025, the auditorium of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering was a witness of celebration, emotion and pride. Over the course of three days of graduation ceremonies, eight hundred graduates of bachelor's and continuing master's programmes received their diplomas here.
In the presence of relatives, friends and members of the academic community, the fresh graduates took the solemn oath and officially received their academic degrees and some other awards. There was a festive atmosphere, touching moments and gratitude for the years spent together at the faculty. 441 bachelors and bachelors and 402 engineers successfully completed their studies at FME this June.
Our graduates will receive photos and videos of their graduation run free of charge and under a password repository link approximately 4 weeks after the graduation ceremony (information will be in the Schedule in Studis). A gallery of informal photos can be found here. |
For many of them, graduation represented not only the formal end of their studies, but also an important milestone in their lives that they will remember for a long time. They leave as graduates of FME, but some of them stay – either in doctoral studies or in other forms of cooperation with the faculty.
Special awards were also presented for outstanding academic achievements or final theses: the Rector's Award, the Dean's Award and the Industrial Enterprise Award.
Two graduates were also nominated for special awards:
- Ing. Jan Klíma is nominated for the Award of the Minister of Education, Youth and Sports for outstanding students and graduates
- Ing. František Jeřábek is nominated for the Josef Hlávka Award for the best students and graduates of universities
We would like to congratulate all our graduates on their successful completion of their studies and wish them good luck and success in their professional and personal lives. We would also like to thank them for choosing the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at the BUT for their studies. The doors of your alma mater are always open to you!
