Learning outcomes of the course unit
Orientation in the marketing aspects of air transport, in the transport conditions, in the transport documentation, in the tarifs and charges assessment, in the categories of passengers, baggages and freight and ways of their transport.

Planned learning activities and teaching methods
The course is taught through lectures explaining the basic principles and theory of the discipline. Exercises are focused on practical topics presented in lectures.
Assesment methods and criteria linked to learning outcomes
Obtaining of the credit is based on the continuous control of knowledge during all the semester and presentation of assigned tasks aimed at examples of practical application of the subject matter.
The examination is of write and oral form and it is based on three questions and discusion.
Aims
Introduction to the basic problems of busines operation in the regular air transport of the passengers and cargo. Explaining of the definitions due to air transport, verification of the theoretical knowledges and acquisition of the practical knowledges by student's own work.
Specification of controlled education, way of implementation and compensation for absences
Lectures and exercises are compulsory. The absence (in justifiable cases) can be compensated by personal consultation with the lecturer and elaboration of individually assigned topics and exercises.
