Materials Engineering - Selected Topics

FSI-0UM Acad. year: 2026/2027 Summer semester

The subject – with great space for questions and in more or less discussion form – sorts and
complements informations given in parallel subject BUM – Introduction to material sciences.

Language of instruction

Czech

Number of ECTS credits

2

Entry knowledge

Basic information from physics, chemistry, physical chemistry and mathematics.

Rules for evaluation and completion of the course

The subject is facultative and voluntary – finished with credit. student must be active and interested in problems of studied subject.
In the second half of semester students have to pass the test of knowledge. Successful going through the test is essential condition for gaining the credits.

Aims
