Structure and Properties of Metallic Materials
FSI-9SVK Acad. year: 2026/2027 Winter semester
The specific content of the course is adapted to the student’s doctoral research topic and aims to deepen understanding of phenomena relevant to the dissertation work. Emphasis is placed on interpreting the behavior and underlying mechanisms of high-value materials, including conventional metallic systems (steels, cast irons, titanium, copper, aluminum, magnesium, etc.) as well as emerging classes of materials such as high-entropy alloys, intermetallics, metal-matrix composites, superconductors, and materials produced by unconventional or additive manufacturing methods.
