Original abstract

This paper deals with the 0D and 1D simulation of air flow, heat and mass transfer during the printing process. The ink drying network of modern flexograprahic presses is described and simulated. The AMESim software is used for the simulations, because it is capable of the physical modeling of multi-domain systems, hence different problems could be solved together. The simulation setting and relevant equations are presented. The obtained results are discussed.
